Teams will play a minimum of four games, followed by the playoff rounds for those that qualify (either quarters, semis, or finals depending upon number of teams at each division). This tournament is for teams who represent their associations' highest level of competition at Major Novice and Minor Atom (i.e. Ottawa area 'A' teams, 'AA' teams from areas without 'AAA' hockey, and 'AAA' teams). Period lengths will be 10-10-12 minutes.
For the Minor Atom division, the equivalency chart for Ottawa & Ontario in use is:
|Tier I||A||AAA / high-end AA|
|Tier II||B||low end AA / A / AE / MD|
Only Tier I or exceptionally strong Tier II teams should apply.
