Bell Sensplex - Week 3 (July 15-19)
Richcraft Sensplex - Week 4 (July 22-26)
- The camp will begin with skating instruction and then quickly progress to development of the skills and tactics needed to successfully play defence.
- Includes work on defending 1-on-1s, 2-on-1s, and 3-on-2s, defensive zone positioning, puck handling, passing, techniques to escape pressure forechecking, puck support, quick shots, one-timers, keep-ins, footwork, and much more.
Participants will also be integrated into drills with the Offensive Skills & Tactics and Modified Goalie camps, facing live opposition.
Elite instructors from FitQuest (Bell Sensplex) or Titan Performance Center (Richcraft Sensplex) will lead off-ice sessions that develop footwork, flexibility speed, agility, hand-eye coordination, and overall fitness, as well as teaching players how to train during the season ahead.
To protect the competitive nature of this camp, applications are subject to review. Restricted to male & female players who played competitive hockey during the 2018-19 season (and Novice House A players).
Please note that we will have at least one bilingual instructor with each camp group at the Richcraft Sensplex to accommodate all participants.
LUNCH PLAN OPTION
Participants in all full-day camps have the option of purchasing a quality lunch plan provided by Stanley’s Fresh Grill at the Bell and Richcraft Sensplex at a cost of $12 day including taxes and gratuities ($12/day or $60/week all-in). Participants may also pack their own lunch; though please note that our camps are a nut-free environment.
Meal plan options will be added in the near future.
FRIEND REQUEST POLICY
If you wish to have your camper paired with a friend, please indicate that request upon registering online. We will do our best to accommodate requests, but please be mindful that we cannot guarantee that friend requests will be honoured, as groupings are based on age, skill level and enrollment date.
