Ice Rentals 

 

The Sensplex facilities in Ottawa have a total of nine sheets of ice available to rent.  The Bell Sensplex & Richcraft Sensplex both have four sheets of ice and Cavanagh Sensplex has one.

During the peak season (September to April), 90% of prime time ice at all Sensplex facilities are allocated to Local Minor Sports including, Minor Hockey, Ringette, Speed skating, and Figure Skating; although, some prime time ice is still available throughout the peak season at all facilities. For non-prime ice (i.e. weekday ice from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. & every day from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m.), we have regular availability.

***ONLINE BOOKINGS ARE AVAILABLE FOR ANY ICE UP TO AND INCLUDING March 31st, 2025!!

INSURANCE REQUIREMENT – ALL ice rentals are required to have liability insurance. It can be purchased through Sensplex or from a 3rd party provider (ie CARHA, Hockey Canada, iPlayHockey.ca, etc). If your group has 3rd party insurance, please request your provider to add Capital Sports Management (CSMI) & Ottawa Community Ice Partners (OCIP) as “Additional Insured”. Please click here to view the details of the insurance sold by the Sensplex. If you need to submit a claim, please call 1-866-661-7507 and reference policy number in the sample.

CANCELLATION POLICY – Once rental is paid and committed to, there are no refunds/cancellations.
