Capital Sports Management Inc (CSMI) oversees the development and execution of a variety of skating and hockey programming at the Bell Sensplex and Cavanagh Sensplex (in the west end of Ottawa) and the state-of-the-art 4-pad Richcraft Sensplex (in the east end) for both youth and adults. Whether you have a three year old who has never been on skates or you are a retiree who is looking to get on the ice on a weekly basis in one of our adult skill clinics, we will have a program that meets your needs and ability.

Edgeworks Morning Sessions
Take control of your edges during this 8-week morning program that breaks down the fundamental components of skating efficiency, power, balance, and agility, combined with advanced hockey-specific station work which will enhance the skills of any player! All session led by Ryan Smyth, our Head of Hockey Development, and one of our lead figure skating instructors.

Evening Adult Skill Development
Develop the skill set needed to be a well-rounded player, with a progressive focus on skating technique, followed by shooting, puck control, and passing.
All sessions will feature a controlled scrimmage at the end of each class to illustrate key points in game situations (while stopping play where necessary).

Adult Evening Modified Goaltending Academy
One-on-one goaltending instruction designed to improve positioning, mobility, and technique, followed by incorporation into drills.

Morning Adult Skill Development
Start off your mornings with a combination of our popular Performance & Power Skating and Complete Player Development programs! In this 12-week program, participants will focus on all aspects of key hockey skills such as skating, shooting, puck control, and passing, followed by a controlled scrimmage similar to our latest Practice & Play program.

The Performance & Power Skating program is designed to push participants to become more efficient and powerful skaters. It will include lessons on forward and backwards stride, starts & stops, crossovers, tight turns and overall lateral mobility.

Complete Player Development
Become a great all-around player with a class designed to hone the fundamental skills needed to succeed this season! The Complete Player Development program will teach proper skating habits - designed to make you a more powerful and efficient skater - while also giving you thorough instruction on the proper methods of stick-handling, puck control, shooting, and passing.

Develop the skills needed to fill the back of the net, in this full-day camp designed specifically for female hockey players! Featuring three hours of daily on-ice skill development, the camp will include drills designed to improve shooting accuracy and power, enhance puck control abilities, and teach girls to capitalize on net-front opportunities (particularly compete levels and scoring off of rebounds).
Girls Only Scoring Clinics

IP Fundamental Skills
The IP Fundamental Skills program is dedicated to teaching the foundational skills needed by all hockey players, in a once-per-week format designed to supplement their minor hockey program as an IP or Junior Fundamentals player.

Little Sens Learn to Play
For the 2017-2018 season, the Ottawa Senators, the National Hockey League and the NHL Players Association are pleased to introduce Little Sens – Learn to Play, an inroductory program for children born from 2009-2013.
Locally, in partnership with HEO, Hockey Outaouais, and the Ottawa Senators Foundation, this new initiative will help introduce children from across Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec to the sport of hockey in a fun and positive setting with minimal time and financial commitments.

Elite Player Camp (Bantam-Midget)
