Scoring is all about positioning, instincts, shooting, and oftentimes will. And with scoring chances being rare, players need to have the finishing ability to be able to capitalize on their moment, whenever the opportunity presents itself. From the crease to the slot and beyond – shooting and scoring will make you more dangerous all over the offensive zone!

The Shooting & Scoring Camp is intended for players at the Recreational level. For development purposes, all participants are subject to evaluation and removal if deemed necessary. While on the ice, participants will be separated into groups appropriate with their age and caliber. This ice-only camp will focus on some of the following concepts & skills to teach skaters how to finish from all levels of the offensive zone:
- Quick hands and Scoring in Tight
- Rebounds and Elevating the puck quickly
- Shooting in Stride
- Quick Release Shooting
- Changing the Shooting Angle
- Edgework to reach and finish any scoring chance

Refund and Cancellation Policy
All Sensplex programs and camps are planned based on enrollment numbers well in advance of the program start date. As such, cancellations and refunds are generally not permitted, except in cases of medical necessity.
If a participant is unable to attend a camp or program due to medical reasons and provides notice prior to the start date, they will receive a credit for the full amount paid, less a $35 administration fee. This credit may be applied to any Sensplex camp or program occurring within the next one (1) full calendar year.
A doctor’s note is required to validate medical cancellations and must be submitted within one week of notification. Please note that all credits issued are non-transferable.
