High Performance Training Program

Senators Elite Hockey Development (SEHD) is excited to announce the inaugural SEHD High Performance Training Program this spring. Work with our team of expert staff (full-time coaches, invited collaborators, and other leaders in their fields) for a 7-week high performance program featuring two (2) ice times weekly, off-ice physical performance training and education, classroom sessions and two (2) tournaments, with the formal portion beginning after AAA tryouts finish. All aspects are designed to provide 2013-born elite-level players with a foundation of the skills, tactics, awareness/hockey IQ, and habits needed for maximum development and in-game success as they rise through their AAA hockey careers and beyond.

2013 SEHD High Performance Training Program

Program Features

  • 17.5 hours of ice time over the course of 7 weeks through individual advanced skills & tactics sessions and team practices focusing on play conducive to high-performance levels of hockey.
  • All development ice taking place during the week, in the evenings and begin after AAA tryouts (Tentatively estimated as May 5).
  • Off-ice training & instruction led by Fiquest Inc., to take place immediately before or after an ice-time.
  • 7 classroom sessions led by SEHD coaches focusing on high performance habits, increasing Hockey IQ and awareness, and team tactics.
  • Game analysis with professional coaches during both the SSHD AAA Elite Invitational (June 13-15, Ottawa) and HHOF Series Fort Lauderdale Tournament (May 22-25, Florida Panthers Ice Den, Coral Springs, Florida).
  • Access to THE most beneficial offseason training option for Tier I calibre players for less than $45 per development activity.

The 2013 SEHD High Performance Training Program is invite only. If you are interested in being considered, and are currently playing at the AAA or AA level, please contact [email protected]. or complete the application above. Players capable of playing Tier I hockey will be evaluated by non-parent, professional high-performance coaches and notified of their status within three weeks of application.
