KEY DETAILS

The Atom Prep Camp will feature the following:

• Three hours of daily ice time, in which skaters will get significant individual skill development through advanced station work, and then take part in controlled scrimmages and small areas games designed to help players achieve success in the full-ice game.
• Players will be taught positioning, along with offensive and defensive tactics to help them excel in the season ahead and be ready for sort-outs and tryouts.
• Instructors will also touch on rules and systems which are key to playing the most effective full-ice hockey.
• Goalies will receive teaching from qualified instructors on the technical aspect of goaltending for the first third of each ice session before being involved in drills and stations run with live shooters.

Please note that we will have at least one bilingual instructor with each camp group at the Richcraft Sensplex to accommodate all participants. 

To protect the advanced nature of this camp, applications are subject to review. Restricted to male & female players who have a displayed an ability to focus and be coachable during the 2019-20 season.

To protect the competitive nature of this camp, applications are subject to review. Restricted to male & female players who played Competitive or House A hockey during the 2019-20 season.

START & END TIMES / PRE & POST-CAMP CARE

Sign-in times for individual camps typically fall between 7:15 AM and 9:15 AM, while sign-out times are usually between 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Specific start and end times for each camp will be posted on individual camp pages by following March Break. We do not charge for pre or post camp care within the range of sign-in and sign-out times during that specific camp week and are happy to make accommodations for supervision for your child should you have other commitments. We ask that you notify us by email should you need to drop off your child early or pick him/her up late. Please note that early drop-off or late pick-up activities will not involve formal programming, but will feature supervision by camp staff.

FRIEND REQUEST POLICY

If you wish to have your camper paired with a friend, please indicate that request upon registering online. We will do our best to accommodate requests, but please be mindful that we cannot guarantee that friend requests will be honoured, as groupings are based on age, skill level and enrollment date.
