High Performance Training & Mentorship Camp

Join top calibre 2013-born players from our region and beyond for a unique camp in July 4-12, 2026 which will develop high-performance habits and give players a firsthand look at a junior-like training camp. All chosen players will participate in five full days of the most impactful development experience they’ve ever had from July 4-8 in Ottawa, and then participate in the Mini Chowder Cup Boston Experience, July 10-12. All players looking to attend the 2013 SEHD High Performance Training & Mentorship Camp will be evaluated for suitability prior to acceptance.

Camp Features

Ice Time

17.5 hours of ice time over the course of the week through individual skill sessions (5), team practices (5) and exhibition games (5).

Game Analysis

Game analysis with professional coaches throughout the week.

Goalie Training

Goalies receive position specific instruction during the morning skills sessions with our dedicated SEHD goalie coach.

Live Broadcasting

All end-of-day games broadcast on LiveBarn.

Professional Coaching

Coached by professional hockey development staff.

On-site Trainers

Qualified trainers on-site for all games.

Catered Lunches

High-quality lunches catered by Centre Ice Sports Bar (included in camp fee).

Possible Sponsorship

Two "Camp All-Star" awards to be chosen by camp staff at the conclusion of the Ottawa portion. Each will receive sponsorship towards 2026/27 Sens Elite programming.

True Teaching and Mentorship

All players will experience professional-style classroom learning from industry experts and professional hockey staff through engaging presentations featuring video and more.

Chris Schwarz – Former pro athlete, former NHL Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Ottawa Senators and current director of performance/owner of Fitquest Inc. (training NHL players such as Erik Karlsson, Mark Stone, Nick Paul, Cody Ceci and more).
Andy Bryan – Senators Elite Camp Director, High-Performance Certified Coach, Management, Leadership and Culture Development Expert, Current Senior Director of Hockey Programs and HEO AAA Head Coach.
Derek Schoenmakers – Senators Elite Head of Hockey Development, high performance coach and former OHL, USports, and professional athlete. Current HEO AAA Coach, Skill Development Coach for 40% of HEO AAA associations and more.
Tyrell Buckley – Mental Performance Coach with Tyrell Buckley Mental Performance Consulting and former BCHL, NCC and professional player.

Mike King – Current Ottawa Senators and Team USA video coach, former development coach for the Sudbury Wolves.

More Information

All players looking to attend the Senators Elite High Performance Mentorship Camp must apply and be evaluated for acceptance. Select players may be evaluated in advance and invited to bypass a further formal review process.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Planning for all Sensplex programs, camps and leagues is based on current enrollment numbers well in advance of the start date. As a result, no refunds or cancellations are permitted except for medical reasons. If a player is unable to attend their camp, program or league (and notice is given prior to the start date) due to medical reasons, he/she will receive a credit for their full amount paid less a $35 administrative fee, which may be used for any camp, program or league taking place within the next one (1) full calendar year. A doctor’s note is required to substantiate this type of cancellation, and this note must be provided within 1 week of notification.
