Ask any professional coach, scout, manager, or teammate what the first thing they notice from any player would be, and most will have one answer: compete. Competing is a nonnegotiable in hockey, and doing so effectively leads to being a trusted player and respected teammate.
In the Compete & Battle clinic, players will be pushed into situations where competing is a necessity, and learning how to battle hard and be tough to play against without taking undisciplined penalties. This includes skills like stick positioning, body positioning and leverage, and puck protection – but doesn’t stop there. Players will also learn how to make effective plays after the battle itself. After all – the vast majority of a game is spent within ten feet of the boards, but the vast majority of goals are scored from the middle of the ice.
Please note this camp is for players who played the 2025-2026 season at the competitive level. Registrations are subject to review.

Camp Features
- This camp is an ice-only camp that takes place Monday to Friday, and features no off-ice activities.
- Participants will be separated into groups appropriate with their age and calibre.
- The Compete and Battle Camp is restricted to players that played competitive hockey during the 2025-26 season. All applications are subject to review.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
All Sensplex programs and camps are planned based on enrollment numbers well in advance of the program start date. As such, cancellations and refunds are generally not permitted, except in cases of medical necessity.
If a participant is unable to attend a camp or program due to medical reasons and provides notice prior to the start date, they will receive a credit for the full amount paid, less a $35 administration fee. This credit may be applied to any Sensplex camp or program occurring within the next one (1) full calendar year.
A doctor’s note is required to validate medical cancellations and must be submitted within one week of notification. Please note that all credits issued are non-transferable.
