A requirement of the modern game is to “play fast.” The only problem is, few players actually understand how to play fast and what it actually means in terms of gameplay. In the Hockey IQ Clinic, players with be focused on the foundational skill to be able to play fast: scanning & awareness.
Skaters will be learning how to gain information during plays before they even have the puck on their stick. The more information a player has, the quicker they can actually make plays once it’s on their stick. In these sessions, players will be put into drills and situations that train their scanning and awareness, ability to see the whole ice, and read situations to be as effective as possible both with and without the puck.
Please note this camp is for players who played the 2025-2026 season at the competitive level. Registrations are subject to review.
