Introduce your son or daughter to Canada’s favorite game, in a fun, supportive environment under the watchful eye of our best Ottawa Senators Hockey Programs instructors.
The Intro 2 Hockey program is designed to teach fundamental hockey skills to your son or daughter in order to ensure they are ready for their first year of hockey. Each player will receive instruction that will increase their confidence on the ice and familiarize them with all aspects of the game. Our lesson plans are designed to be FUN for all participants and feature great instructor-to-participant ratios in order to ensure proper support for all players!
PLEASE NOTE– Students enrolled in the Intro 2 Hockey program are expected to meet minimum skill and ability requirements. Participants MUST be able to perform the minimum level of skating requirement. This includes being able stand and propel themselves around the ice (no “penguin walk”) as well as being able to fall and get back up to a standing position without assistance. Participants are subject to removal if deemed necessary by an instructor. If you think your participant may not be able to meet these requirements, we encourage families to register for our Sparty Learn 2 Skate Program (Presented by eQ Homes).

Information
Our qualified instructors will correct and properly demonstrate each skill in a fun and comfortable learning environment, designed to increase each player’s confidence and enjoyment. Skaters will work in small groups at stations with extended times to increase the number of repetitions, with constant error detection and correction from instructors. Our lesson plans are designed to be fun for all participants and feature great instructor-to-participant ratios in order to ensure personalized feedback and proper support for all players. We believe excellence is achieved through repetition. While each session follows the same proven program structure, new drills and variations are introduced to continuously reinforce key skills and support player development.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
All Sensplex programs and camps are planned based on enrollment numbers well in advance of the program start date. As such, cancellations and refunds are generally not permitted, except in cases of medical necessity.
If a participant is unable to attend a camp or program due to medical reasons and provides notice prior to the start date, they will receive a credit for the full amount paid, less a $35 administration fee. This credit may be applied to any Sensplex camp or program occurring within the next one (1) full calendar year.
A doctor’s note is required to validate medical cancellations and must be submitted within one week of notification. Please note that all credits issued are non-transferable.
