The Senators Elite Hockey Development (SEHD) Programs are designed for elite athletes, by elite coaches. Our team has been the chosen skill development provider for 40% of AAA minor hockey associations in our region and is now able to offer the very best in training, mentorship, and development for individuals.

All programs are designed by our full-time professional hockey development staff (High Performance Certified Coaches and long-time industry experts who remain actively involved at the Tier I level) including Sr Director of Hockey, Andy Bryan, and Head of Hockey Development, Jake Bullen

Due to it’s elite nature, all Senators Elite Hockey Development Programs are restricted to elite athletes only (Tier I and select Tier II athletes) looking to maximize their success in high-performance hockey only (some are restricted to Tier I calibre only. Calling all 2013 and 2014 Tier 1 Players!

Interested in our Sens Elite Hockey Development programs listed below and want to see what all the hype is about? Come out to our high performance skate on January 2nd, 2025 at the Bell Sensplex. Players who participate will skate free of charge, with the option to donate to the Ottawa Senators Community Foundation- Community | Ottawa Senators | Ottawa Senators. Space is limited however we still encourage all eligible players to apply!

This program is intended for AAA calibre elite-level players only. This includes 2013 AAA calibre and 2014 AA calibre players. Only Tier I and II players may apply.

2014 SEHD HIGH PERFORMANCE TRAINING PROGRAM

A seven-week training program for Tier I calibre 2014-born players. This elite program is designed by High Performance certified coaches to train players on the mental, physical, tactical, and individual hockey skills needed to succeed at the highest levels of hockey. The program features both on & off-ice development, classroom sessions and a local elite tournament.

This program is intended for Tier I players targeting a spot at the AAA level for the 25-26 season.

2013 SEHD HIGH PERFORMANCE TRAINING PROGRAM (& HHOF Fort Lauderdale Elite Tournament Experience)

A seven-week training program for Tier I calibre 2013-born players. This elite program is designed by High Performance certified coaches to train players on the mental, physical, tactical, and individual hockey skills needed to succeed at the highest levels of hockey. The program features both on & off-ice development, classroom sessions and two tournaments (one local and one travel).

This program is intended for AAA calibre elite-level players only.

2012 HIGH PERFORMANCE TRAINING & MENTORSHIP CAMP (& Chowder Cup Boston Experience)

Join the best 2012-born players from our region and beyond for a unique camp in July 2025 which will develop high performance habits and give players a firsthand look at a junior-like training camp. All chosen players will compete for the SEHD Mentorship Camp Cup and travel with their team to the Mini Chowder Cup Boston Experience to compete in the Elite AAA division.

Anticipated calibre is 2012 Elite AAA.

2011 HIGH PERFORMANCE TRAINING & MENTORSHIP PROGRAM (& Niagara Falls HHOF Elite Tournament Experience)

The best 2011-born players are invited to return for a seven week high performance training & mentorship program this spring. Designed and delivered by HP certified coaches, this one-of-a-kind program features advanced individual skills and tactical development, along with training and mentorship off the ice, and game play through two tournaments.

This program is intended for AAA calibre elite-level players only.

Senators Elite Hockey Development Programs are excited to announce agreements renewals with both Ottawa Myers Automotive AAA and the Eastern Ontario Wild AAA Hockey Association for the 2024-25 season. SEHD coaches will be designing and executing a full season of development for these AAA hockey clubs!
