The 21st Annual Kanata Blazers AAA Shootout is back with a November date for the 2024-25 hockey season, after immense success attracting a strong field in November 2023. This allows teams to travel to Canada’s Capital City for their best tournament of the season before the snow flies.

Headquartered at our state-of-the-art four-pad facility, the Bell Sensplex, parents and spectators can enjoy the action from rink side or the comfort of Centre Ice Restaurant & Bar which overlooks two of our four ice surfaces.

Awards ceremony following EVERY game for “Player of the Game” selections from both teams
New this season are longer period lengths: 12-12-12 for U11.

The Bell Sensplex (west Ottawa) is the headquarters for this tournament; however teams may play games at other local facilities, including the Richcraft Sensplex in east Ottawa.

Hudson Travel Group is the exclusive travel partner for all tournaments hosted by the Bell Sensplex. Booking with them is a mandatory condition of acceptance for all out of town teams. Ottawa Senators Tickets

The Senators are playing at home on Thursday, November 7th, 2024 vs. New York Islanders at 7:00pm. If your team would like to purchase tickets, you will need to reach out to Shannon Jones, who is the Account Manager, Premium & Group Sales Manager for the Senators. Our Tournament Manager will do his best to accommodate teams in the tournament schedule that purchase Senators tickets through Shannon.
