High Performance Training & Mentorship Program

The Senators Elite Hockey Development (SEHD) Programs are excited to announce the U15 (2011) SEHD High Performance Training & Mentorship Program (and Niagara Falls HHOD Elite Tournament Experience) this off-season. Building on the 2024 U14 High Performance Training & Mentorship Camp which received a 100% satisfaction rating from survey respondents, Tier I caliber 2011-born players selected will participate in a 7-week high-performance training and mentorship program featuring two ice times each week, off-ice workouts and education, classroom sessions and two (tournaments) all anticipated to begin after 2025 AAA tryouts. This one-of-a-kind limited capacity program will build on the teachings from the 2024 camp as AAA players get the education, training, and guidance needed to excel in the remainder of their AAA hockey careers and into the junior and/or college ranks and beyond.

Program Features

• 17.5 hours of ice time over the course of 7 weeks through advanced individual skill and tactics sessions and team-based practices.
• Coaching and mentorship from a team of exceptionally-qualified coaches, who truly care about the personal development of each athlete. Players will exit this seven week program significantly more prepared to succeed in high-performance hockey and in life.
• All development ice takes place during the week, in the evenings and begin after AAA tryouts (Tentatively estimated as May 5), leaving time for regular “teams”, other programs, or multi-sport athletes. Ice times will be primarily on Mondays and Wednesdays each week.
• Weekly off-ice training and educational sessions lead by top Athletic Performance Experts from Fitquest Inc., to take place immediately before or after an ice-time.
• A minimum of seven classroom sessions lead by SEHD high-performance coaches & other industry professionals focused on preparing them for the challenges of life and hockey at the highest levels, and building hockey IQ and awareness of key habits and tactics.
• Game analysis and in-game coaching from professional coaches during both the SSHD AAA Elite Invitational (June 13-15 in Ottawa) and one other Out of Town Elite Tournament Experience at the Elite (D1) level only (Tentatively set for the Niagara Falls HHOF Tournament in June).
• Flexibility to participate in other programs and events however 100% attendance is required for twice weekly team training and mentorship sessions and both tournaments.

The 2011 SEHD High Performance Training & Mentorship Program is by invite or individual assessment only. If you are interested in being considered, and CURRENTLY play at the AAA or AA level, please contact [email protected] OR apply above. Players asking to be considered for invitation will be evaluated and notified of their status within three weeks of application.
