The Ottawa Senators Hockey Programs (OSHP) and Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO) are excited to re-introduce our Learn & Play Hockey Program! This program is a low cost; low commitment program intended for players new to hockey who have NOT participated in sanctioned minor hockey.

Informations
The Learn & Play Hockey Program features two (2) weekly ice times that will run for a 10-week period at the Bell Sensplex, located in Ottawa’s west-end. One session will be entirely focused on individual skill development, while the other will feature free-flowing game play in a 3-on-3 format. All sessions will be 50-minutes in length.
The Skills Sessions (Sundays Only) will be led by certified Hockey Eastern Ontario skills coaches and qualified Ottawa Senators Hockey Programs instructors. Skills sessions will be focused on teaching the fundamentals of hockey, including by not limited to skating, shooting and puck handling.
All Game Days (Mondays Only) are led by Ottawa Senators Hockey Programs staff and fun in the same format as the HEO sanctioned Spring 3-on-3 Leagues.
The Learn & Play Hockey Program will be offered exclusively for two (2) different age groups:
- U7 – U11 (Players born between 2016 and 2020)
- U12 – U15 (Players born between 2012 and 2015)
PLEASE NOTE– Students enrolled in the Learn & Play program are expected to meet minimum skill and ability requirements. Participants MUST be able to perform the minimum level of skating requirement. This includes being able stand and propel themselves around the ice (no “penguin walk”) as well as being able to fall and get back up to a standing position without assistance. Participants are subject to removal if deemed necessary by an instructor.
Cost Breakdown
The total cost of the Learn & Play Hockey Program is $680 for skaters and $480 for goaltenders. This includes all 20 ice times, a hockey jersey and Hockey Canada insurance. We have given registrants the option to split payment into 2 installments. A $100 deposit will be required upon registration, and a 2nd payment will be charged on the 1st of the following monthafter you register.

Politique de remboursement et d'annulation
Tous les programmes et camps Sensplex sont planifiés en fonction du nombre d'inscriptions bien avant la date de début du programme. Par conséquent, les annulations et les remboursements ne sont généralement pas autorisés, sauf en cas de nécessité médicale.
Si un participant ne peut pas assister à un camp ou à un programme pour des raisons médicales et qu'il en informe Sensplex avant la date de début, il recevra un crédit correspondant au montant total payé, moins des frais administratifs de 35 $. Ce crédit pourra être utilisé pour tout camp ou programme Sensplex se déroulant au cours de la prochaine année civile complète.
Une note du médecin est requise pour valider les annulations pour raisons médicales et doit être soumise dans un délai d'une semaine à compter de la notification. Veuillez noter que tous les crédits accordés sont non transférables.
